Reminder: How we’ve helped our clients resolve human resources problems.

For years there was little that IT could do to help businesses resolve human resources issues, but that has recently changed. We have been able to help our clients with employee productivity drops due to Internet distractions, inappropriate use of Internet (you know what that means), and employees sending corporate data home or worse to the competition. Besides solving those problems, we have also tracked sensitive files for regulatory compliance and most importantly provided a self-monitoring employee productivity tool. We’ve been able to do all of this with products from Spectorsoft.

I’ve been very happy with the results that this package has been able to deliver and with its ease of use. What seems a daunting task, is actually quite simple and I’m happy that Spectorsoft has agreed to help us tell you about it.

I know that many of you have the same human resources problems. We can do something about it. Please join us for this webinar on Tuesday afternoon to learn about this great tool.

Correction: Invitation to webinar

I have just been alerted that the URL to register for the webinar was not working. I have made the correction and now invite you all to register for the event using a link that works. :)

In the last 18 months, several of our clients have experienced problems that here-to-fore might have been considered human resources issues: employee productivity drops due to Internet distractions, inappropriate use of Internet (you know what that means), employees sending corporate data home or worse to the competition. Besides solving those problems, we have also tracked sensitive files for regulatory compliance and most importantly provided a self-monitoring employee productivity tool. We’ve been able to do all of these with products from Spectorsoft…The original post with corrected link is here.

Invitation: Tracking Employee Activity, Stopping Data Loss, Controlling Internet Use, Improving Productivity and Staying in Compliance

We’ve been able to do all of these with products from Spectorsoft.
In the process, we’ve developed a nice relationship with the good people at Spectorsoft. With all software it’s not what it says it does, it’s what we do with it and how it’s implemented. They are a US company based out of Florida and they’ve agreed to do a webinar with us to show you what they can do. I’m particularly excited about how this product can be used to enhance employee productivity through self-monitoring – not restrictions that require constant oversight. I’m also excited about the tools they bring that will help your people recover lost or missing files, while making sure that those of you subject to regulatory compliance (HIPPA, SOX, FCC, Homeland Security) stay compliant and can prove it to the powers that be. We’ll provide examples on how we’ve used this to help other clients.
All of this and the brilliant people at Spectorsoft have managed to make it efficient and cost effective.
Join us for an hour on Tuesday January 26th 3:00-4:00pm. Please register so we know how many people to expect. This is a webinar so you don’t have to leave the office to attend. We will come right to your computer. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions too.
Here’s where you register: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/583229370

New Year – A Whole new World

This new year is screaming out for change. It may be a cliché but nothing is more consistent in computer network technology than change and boy are we getting a lot of it this year. The interesting thing is that this change isn’t simply a new version of this or that. It’s change of the seismic shift order. Everything in IT is turning on its head.

What was real is now virtual. What was on-site is now in the cloud. What was unthinkable is now the ordinary. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s before my time in IT, but I think it must be like the change from mainframe to PC’s. We are entering a new era and those that don’t move with it will be left holding the punch cards.

So how do we make dramatic change without chaos? We learn, we train, we test and we educate.  We’re to the point now, where internally we have learned, trained and tested these new technologies. Now we’re ready to educate. It is important to me that you understand why we make the recommendations that we do. I don’t want it to seem as if they are coming out of left field or we’re suggesting something you’ve never heard of before. So expect to see a large number of opportunities educational opportunities. We promise to keep the geek speak to a bare minimum and focus on how these new technologies can improve the bottom line of your business, will have a very quick ROI and will make you money. We’re going to sponsor in-person education events and web based ones too. Most of them will be web based because we understand the value of your time and the necessity for you to remain at your office. I hope that you will be able to join us at these events.

Our first invitation will be coming soon.
